Meet your new Chair – Michelle Dall’Ava

YTN Chair – Michelle Dall’Ava

“Becoming a member of the Young Tourism Network (YTN) was the best thing I’ve done when I moved to Melbourne three years ago. YTN not only helped me to create strong connections in the industry but it also led me to the position that I am now. I’m ever so grateful for the Committee members who supported, advised and guided me and I feel privileged to now be a member of the Committee myself. I look forward to being a part of our continued growth.”

Michelle Dall’Ava developed an early interest in tourism, which led to a Bachelor Honours’ degree in Tourism and Business from the University of Westminster in London. Recipient of academic awards, she has a wealth of knowledge and travel background whilst discovering the secrets and wonders of 30 countries across the globe. She has gained further experience in the fields of human resources, product development and marketing.

Two years ago Michelle joined Destination Melbourne as the Industry Development Coordinator. In her role, she manages and delivers the award-winning Melbourne Tourism Leadership Program (MTLP), coordinates the annual tourism forum Melbourne LIVE, Melbourne Tourism Week, the Check-in to China Program, and a number of other industry development initiatives.

Michelle can assist YTN members who want to learn more about:
