Despina Karatzias

Founder of Institute of Excellence


Driven by a mission to ignite excellence in people, Despina is best known for her inspired training solutions at her school for small business greatness, Institute of Excellence. She is a Certified Trainer, qualified business coach, author and digital marketing professional with over fifteen years’ experience in the tourism industry. 

Besides her business training and development work on, she is a regular tri-caster/social media presenter. She has used live broadcasting to engage, support and grow social media communities across many networks and brands. Most recently, Despina was the social media presenter at the Victorian Tourism Awards and Qantas Australian Tourism Awards. This involved bringing interviews and winner announcements live to their respective social media audiences and resulting in 35,000 percent increase in engagement.

Outside of the training room Despina loves dreaming, planning or experiencing new holiday adventures.   




Lindsay Goding

Director of GAO Group International 


Lindsay Goding is Director of GAO Group International, a global strategy and marketing agency. Specialising in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions, GAO offers a range of strategy, marketing and creative solutions for clients looking to grow their business in the international market place. An experienced international management and marketing professional, Lindsay has spent nearly 15 years working with the international tourism markets through GAO Group and previous roles with Tourism Victoria and Phillip Island Nature Parks. Lindsay currently spends his time between GAO’s head office in Melbourne and offices in Asia helping clients to explore and develop new international business opportunities.

Lindsay also facilitates the Destination Melbourne’s 6-month Check-in to China program, an immersive experience in cultural understanding, language classes and professional development.
